If you want to plan an event and need to know what the space is like…. If you have never been to the barn and want to see what it’s like before you visit… If you are currently planning an event and need pictures of the barn to know where you want to place decorations… This is the page for you! Though we’ve created this page for your convenience, we still recommend you visit the barn in person to get a full tour of what it has to offer. You can set up a free one-on-one visit/tour, or you can keep an eye out for free “open barn” events in the near future.
What should you expect being in a working/functional/in-use barn? When the barn is not reserved for parties, horses are allowed in and out of stalls and the main floor space is used for tying and grooming horses. When the barn is reserved, we do our best to broom up bedding, wash/hose floors, and remove feeding and watering equipment from party spaces. However, this is a barn and you should still expect there to be lots of barn “glitter” (dirt, dust, hay), horses, and some smells of horses. Some parties even request to leave one stall (stall one on the floor plan image) open for horses to come in and out of during the party. The photos featured of the barn on this page are of it in its mostly cleaned up state (except for a few that show it in its functioning condition so you can see doors), so you can expect the barn to have a similar feel to the clean version when you arrive to prepare for a party!
Indoor Spaces
The full size of the barn is 25’ x 21’ with a main floor space (about 10’ x 14’) and three stalls in an L configuration.
The main floor area measures about 10’ x 14’. Most guests choose to leave this room empty and/or use it for tying/grooming horses. It has four receptacles rated for outdoor use and one ceiling light.
Stall one (what some of our guest’s refer to as Eli’s stall) which is separated from the rest of the space is about 9’ x 10’. Guests usually choose to leave this stall for horse(s) to come in and out to visit with during a reservation. This stall contains two GFCI/outdoor rated receptacles and one ceiling light.
Stall two (what some of our guest’s refer to as Cinnamon’s stall) which is a rectangle with one diagonal set of doors dividing it from stall three. This stall measures 10’ wide x 13’ 9” at its largest point down to 9’ 7” at its smaller point. This stall contains two GFCI/outdoor rated receptacles and one ceiling light.
Stall three (what some of our guests refer to as the “minis’ stall”) which is a rectangle with one diagonal set of doors dividing it from stall two. This stall measures 10’ wide x 13’ 9” at its largest point down to 9’ 11”. Stall three also contains a pair of large doors on the front of the barn that can swing open. This stall contains two GFCI/outdoor rated receptacles and one ceiling light.
When the diagonal doors are open between stalls two and three, they allow for one larger stall/room which measures ~10’ wide x 23’ 8” long. Most guests opt for this configuration so that they have this larger room and the main floor area for party space, leaving stall one (Eli's stall) for horses.
Stall doors into pastures will remain closed (top doors can be left open) for reservations, stall doors into main floor area can be left open unless occupied by a horse or horses.
